[sticky post] BE A GUEST HOST!

Hello everyone!

As you all know, this community relies a lot on guest hosts to keep up a theme for the day, so here's your chance to give back!

Sign up to be a guest host! All you need to do is leave the following in comments and you'll be given a guest host week!

Please use this form exactly as it is.

Who: Your LJ name (no link please and this is case-sensitive; please put it as it is in your url)
How: Reminder messages are sent out the weekend before your scheduled week, how would you like this message delivered: via PM or e-mail? If e-mail, please leave it here or PM it to me
When: What week you'd like. Can also be next available.
What: Your themes (Be sure to give 5 of them as themes are now done Monday-Friday)

First available week is January 4-8, 2016 and the rest of the calendar will filled in accordingly. Lonely Prompt Week will happen the last week of March, June, September and December.

If you are unavailable during certain times, please let us know and you will be scheduled accordingly.

If you would also like to be a pinch-hitter, you can fill out the same form and where it says when, put pinch hitter. Also, be sure to include your 5 themes. If you signed up to pinch-hit last year and were never used, I have brought you over to 2016.

Behind the "spoiler" tag are a list of dates and those who have signed up for them. The list currently goes to the end of May, but that doesn't mean you can't sign up for anything beyond that. All dates with user are available for claiming. Also, please check the comments to see which dates have already been given away vs what's been updated in this entry.

free for all

Here's the free for all.

As ever, the rules are:

*No more than five prompts in a row.
*No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
*No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing. Use a spoiler cut as needed.
*If you know the character's full name, use it. Also, give the fandom's complete name, too.
*If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.

There's also a new rule now: if something in the fill could be a trigger, please have a note to warn for it.

Have fun!

Updated Lonely Prompts Challenge numbers

I'm trying to clear up the numbers to make sure I properly credit the numbers to the right people.

I'm not going to ask for everyone to confirm their numbers, but I have a select few I'm worried about.

For Thursday: how many fills did you do?
cozy_coffee
dreammaidenn
entireoranges

Also, in regards to Thursday: were your fills done on Thursday and you forgot to post, or were they done after?
ran_dezvous
helsinkibaby

When the final numbers are posted on Saturday or Sunday, if anyone's numbers are incorrect, please let me know.

LONELY PROMPTS WEEK::25 JUNE § DAY 5

This is it! The last day of Lonely Prompts Week! I hope you all have enjoyed it!

We're back for another Lonely Prompts Challenge week! This is just like the one we had in March.

July 25-29 is Lonely Prompts Week! Each day will have a different theme for you to base the prompts you fill on.

REWARDS
Everyone who participates, will get either a participation icon or participation banner at the end of the week (depending on graphics makers schedules, this may take some time).

The person who fills the most prompts each day gets to pick that day's theme for the next lonely Prompts Week.

The top 3 people who fill the most lonely prompts for the week will get either 10, 20, or 30 LJ Tokens (in addition to the icon or banner).

Yesterday's Winner: COMING SOON!

Saturday I will post the today's winner as well as the totals for the week and announce the winners of the 10, 20 and 30 LJ Tokens!

Friday's Theme: Fill as many prompts that are AUs. (from tigriswolf)

If you leave a request, please make sure it follows the theme for the day.

Please number your fills when leaving more than one in a comment. This helps me when I'm ready to count them up.

To find those elusive Lonely Prompts, you can rummage around at the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (I sadly, don't know how up to date this is), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or go into the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

To get things going, a few rules that I ask you all to follow.

1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from the same fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!
8. Finally, we now have a community at AO3. If you have an AO3 account, please post your fills there. More information on how to do this is located at this link.
