Hello everyone!

As you all know, this comm relies a lot on guest hosts to keep up a theme for the day, so here's your chance to give back to your favorite comm!

Sign up to be a guest host! All you need is the who, when, and what in the comments!

Who: Your LJ name (no link please)
When: What week you'd like. Can also be next available.
What: Your themes (Be sure to give 5 of them as themes are now done Monday-Friday)

If you are unavailable during certain times, please let us know and you will be scheduled accordingly.

If you would also like to be a pinch-hitter, you can fill out the same form and where it says when, put pinch hitter. Also, be sure to include your 5 themes.

You can use this entry template for when you post.

Please make sure that you are an actual member of the community and not just watching it. Only members can be granted community posting access. You don't have to be a member to leave/fill a prompt.

Comment below to sign up and a mod will take care of you!

Good Morrow my doves. It's Thursday, and I'm still classics_lover, your host for the week. Today's theme will put a smile on all our faces, for it is puns and humour. Maybe your favourite character is a wisecracker? Maybe an antagonist won't stop punning. Maybe the most serious character in the fandom just said something wildly hilarious for the first time.

The rules still haven't changed and are as follows:

No more than five prompts in a row.

No more than three prompts in the same fandom.

If your prompt is filled you may prompt again.

No spoilers in prompts.

If your fill contains spoilers, remember to warn and leave plenty of space.

Prompts should be formatted as follows:

Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ MCU, any +/ any, "Such pun. So funny. Wow." "Doge is a lot less funny when you don't even crack a smile."

+ Author's choice, any + any, Malapropism(s)

+ The Big Bang Theory, ensemble, "Never let Sheldon tell a knock-knock joke or you'll be there for an hour"

Happy Hump Day, Darlings! I'm still classics_lover and I'm still this week's host. In keeping with Wednesday's unofficial name, let's do our Kink prompts! You know what this means: naughtiness all round! Are your characters trying something new in the bedroom, is today's safeword brought to you by the letter B, or is it the usual crowd in town for an orgy? Enquiring minds want to know!

+ MCU (AoS), ensemble, "What do you call a fourgy with more than four people in it?" "A Tuesday?"

+ Musketeers (BBC), OT4, leather fetishist(s)

+ Torchwood, Jack/Ianto, "Today's safeword has been brought to you by..."

Ahoy-hoy my darlings. classics_lover here again on a beautiful (rare) sunny Dublin day. In celebration of the Day Star making an appearance here, let's have a Weather theme for today's prompting. Are your characters busting out their ray-bans, or has a sudden storm acted as a matchmaker? What kind of weather is affecting your muses and how will your favourite characters react to it? Have fun everyone!

+ Torchwood, any, "What's the big yellow thing up in the sky?" "That's the Sun."

+ The Musketeers (BBC), Athos/any, "Get out of the rain, Athos!"

+ Assassin's Creed (Ezio Trilogy), any, Under the Tuscan Sun

Hi-ho, everyone. classics_lover here and I feel like busting out some words of wisdom that someone else said first. Yes, that's right, today's Theme is Quotes. Prompts must be based around or comprised entirely of quotes, be they from TV, movies, or even famous and/or intelligent people saying stuff. Go wild, guys, be as serious, as funny, as sagacious as you like. Someone else just needs to have said it first. You don't *have* to tell us what the quote is from, but you are welcome to do so :)

+ MCU (Avengers'verse), any or ensemble, "I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection." Leonardo da Vinci

+ Author's Choice, any +/ any, "Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'" Homer Simpson

+ Marvel's Agents of SHIELD(/MCU), Coulson + ensemble, ""Round up the usual suspects." That's a quote. It's from Casablanca. Anybody?"

Oops
Sorry so late, everyone, I thought I'd pre-posted this week, as it's my birthday, and I didn't expect to be online much...

ANYWAY.

If this is your first time at comment_fic on Sunday, you can either post a previous prompt, or fill one. Or both!

How to do this:

If you're looking for a prompt to fill, you can rummage around in http://previous.delicious.com/commentfic. Likewise, you can use that to search for prompts you'd like to see filled. Alternately, you can go through the archive posts for good prompts!

Whichever you decide to do, prompt or fill (or both!), please remember:

1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from a particular fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. Be sure to link back to whatever the prompt is (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
7. Finally - if you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!

How to link:

[a href="http://comment-fic.livejournal.com/449155.html?thread=70682755#t70682755">MCU, Tony Stark/Pepper Potts, She's wearing daisy dukes and one of his button-down shirts.[/a]
(change the brackets to "<" and ">" respectively)

or:

http://comment-fic.livejournal.com/139897.html?thread=30155641#t30155641
Burn Notice, Sam/Michael/Fi, "It's always been you. And it's always gonna be you"

Free for all, a little early, ya'll! Y'all all know the rules:

+ No more than five prompts in a row
+ No more than three prompts per fandom
+ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
+ No spoilers within prompts until a week after the airdate/release
+ Warn for spoilers in bold and leave at least three spaces before the text

Have fun!

Null, nought, nothing, zilch... Today's theme is zero. As long as it uses the concept of nothing in some way (no space, no light/sound, the number, song lyrics, whatever) you're good to go.

The rules still haven't changed:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
No spoilers in prompts.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space.

Prompts should be formatted as follows:
Fandom, Character+/Character, Prompt

Some examples to bring out your muses...

+ The Secret Garden, Mary, "There is no one left to come." (i.e. AU where Mary is not rescued).
+ Animorphs, any,
There in the sun the frigid threads
Of doubt and dark they feed their nerves;
The signal moon is zero in their voids.

+ Any, any/any, Nullarbor

How are you all this fine Wednesday? Today's theme is one of my favourites: gen. Bring out your teams, acquaintances, strangers, friendships, frenemies, groups and clubs, archenemies or families of all sorts. If your characters don't feel like interacting, write 'em being awesome on their own! Fills and prompts can be any genre or situation. The one thing that isn't allowed is romance, sex and all tropes associated with them.

Have fun!

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Emelan, Henna, her first day on the job
+ Any, any, just another diamond day (Vashti Bunyan)
