[sticky post] BE A GUEST HOST!

Hello, everyone!

As you all know, this community relies a lot on guest hosts to keep up a theme for the day, so here's your chance to give back!

Sign up to be a guest host! All you need to do is leave the following in comments and you'll be given a guest host week!

Please use this form exactly as it is.

Who: Your LJ name (no link please and this is case-sensitive; please put it as it is in your url)
How: Reminder messages are sent out the weekend before your scheduled week, how would you like this message delivered: via PM or e-mail? If e-mail, please leave it here or PM it to me
When: What week you'd like. Can also be next available and/or pinch hit
What: Your themes (Be sure to give 5 of them as themes are done Monday-Friday)

The first available week is January 1-5, 2018 and the rest of the calendar will be filled in accordingly. While week claiming is first come, first serve, those who ask for specific dates will be given those dates and others filled in around that.

Lonely Prompts Week is tentatively scheduled to happen the last week of March, June, September, and December.

If you are unavailable during certain times, please let us know and you will be scheduled accordingly.

If you would also like to be a pinch-hitter, you can fill out the same form and for the when spot, put pinch hit. Also, be sure to include your 5 themes. If you signed up to pinch-hit last year and were never used, I have brought you over to 2018.

Behind the "spoiler" tag are a list of dates and those who have signed up for them. The list currently goes to the end of May, but that doesn't mean you can't sign up for anything beyond that. All dates with user or no name are available for claiming. Also, please check the comments to see which dates have already been given away vs what's been updated in this entry.

Ceadaoin = Fluff

Happy Hump Day my lovelies! I am classics_lover continuing to host this week. Wednesday's theme is Fluff. Prompts can be anything fluffy. Maybe everyone in the MCU goes out for ice cream together, maybe Steve and Danno spend a weekend cuddling on the couch watching movies. Go wild and fluffy!

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ MCU (Avengers'verse), ensemble, "Time for gelato!"

+ Dragon Age, Blackwall/any, "Stop angsting, I forgive you!"

+ Frasier, Niles Crane/Daphne Moon + Martin Crane, post-canon getting a dog

We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2018 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Good Tuesday my doves, it is I, classics_lover still on guest host duties. Tuesday's theme is Music. Prompts can be anything to do with music. Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.

Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...

+ MCU (Avengers'verse), ensemble, "Why is everyone singing?" "It's a musical episode!"

+ Dragon Age, anypair, favourite campside songs

+ Any (please no SPN), any(+/ any), Yes sir, already told you in the first verse and in the chorus,
But I will give you one more chance...

Ooohh! Yes sir, I can boogie,
But I need a certain song,
I can boogie, boogie woogie all night long. (Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, Baccara)

Fourth Sunday of the Month

If this is your first time at comment_fic on Sunday, you can either post a previous prompt, or fill one. Or both!

How to do this:

Looking for prompts? You can find them in various ways! You can rummage around at the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet, or go into the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

Whichever you decide to do, prompt or fill (or both!), please remember:

1. You can only request five prompts to be filled.
2. You can request no more than three prompts from a particular fandom.
3. You can, however, fill as many prompts as you'd like!
4. In the subject line, be sure to say whether this is a request or a fill!
5. You must link back to whatever the prompt is in the community logs (whether filling or requesting it be filled), and, if you're filling the prompt, please complete the fill as a response to the original prompt.
6. If you are filling an "any/any" prompt, please let us know what fandom (or, if original, say so!) you're using for the response.
8. If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
7. If you filled any lonely prompts earlier this week, this is the place to share them!
9. Finally, we now have a community at AO3. If you have an AO3 account, please post your fills there. More information on how to do this is located at this link.

How to link:

[a href="http://comment-fic.livejournal.com/449155.html?thread=70682755#t70682755">MCU, Tony Stark/Pepper Potts, She's wearing daisy dukes and one of his button-down shirts.[/a]
(change the brackets to "<" and ">" respectively)

or:
