Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Hawaii Five-0, past Danny Williams/Rachel + present Steve McGarrett/Danny Williams, AU where Rachel never accepted Danny's marriage proposal (but they still had Grace and Danny still moved to Hawaii...please?)
+ Any, Any +/ Any, Character A offers Character B a job with their new business
+ MacGyver, Angus MacGyver + Random Villian, Mac is offered a job within some random villian's organization
We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2019 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.
Also, there are plenty of open hosting dates. Please check out the Guest Host entry to sign up (if you feel like it).

OMG, I don't remember that scene but it totally fits with what I remember of the show.
Is that fic a redhead in a little black dress and fishnets? If so, cue somebody get their ass getting kick back to Tejas.
The one I started last year? Yeah. :) And everybody's two least favorite vice cops are involved now, too. I don't know why I do this to them.
Hmmm.... Because they torture you in return.
This is very true. I'm going to finish my lunch and hopefully get some of this knocked out.
“No,” he said. “I’m not going to do it.”
“Rosewood, you don’t have any choice.”
“Why the hell not,” James grouched. “I’m not the only damn man in narcotics, why can’t one of them do this?” He looked at his partner, Jake, who shrugged.
“I offered,” Jake said, “but was told no.”
“Why on earth would you offer to do this,” James asked, truly perplexed.
“Because I had a feeling you were going to be the one getting volunteered.” He glared at their captain and the two vice cops that always seemed to pop up and cause trouble. “Besides, anytime these two assholes are involved, you wind up in a compromising position.”
He never told his partner this, but he was grateful to have someone like Jake Hansen on his side. “I appreciate it, Jake, but I’m not sure you’ve got the gams for this job.”
Jake grinned and discreetly flipped the redhead off. “He has a point though,” Jake said, looking at the two captains, one representing vice, the other narcotics. “Why the hell is Rosewood always the one made to dress in drag?”
“Or like a hooker,” James added.
“Right,” Jake said, nodding. “Either a hooker or a drag queen. And, let’s be honest here, he’s not fabulous enough to be a drag queen.”
James snorted. “No, definitely not,” he agreed. “You know who would be a fabulous drag queen though, right?”
“Yeah,” Jake cackled. “Reyes.”
“Oh god, I’d have a hard time explaining that one to Andy though,” James said.
“So, what exactly are you saying, Rosewood?”
He looked at Allen Jeffries, vice’s captain. “I’m not doing this. Get one of your own to do it.”
“Rosewood,” Captain Berry said, voice threatening. “This case started as a narcotics operation. We need one of us on the job.”
“Am I the only damn narco in this city,” he shouted. “Good lord, get one of the other guys to do it.”
Berry crossed his arms over his chest and glared.
James sighed.
Grinning, Jake looked at his partner. “Should I go track down those six inch heels Reyes bought you after your last stretch working Fremont?”
“Jake?”
“Yeah, Rosewood?”
“I love you.”
“And,” Jake asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Shut the hell up.”
I love it!!!
Jay's right. I don't think Jake could pull off....lol
Zayne bought Jay shoes?? That's a story waiting to be told.
Nah, he's too short. Hah!
As for the shoes, that's a story Jake needs to tell me because I had no idea until it came out of his mouth. LOL
Maybe Jake needs to borrow those shoes...lol
That was rude of him.
Hahaha... maybe?
I know, right? He's not supposed to keep the juicy stuff to himself.
Any, any,
“My work here is done.”
“But you didn’t do anything”
"The hell I can't, gingerbread," Zayne snapped. He was hot and tired. Work was sucking the life out of him. He just needed a few hours of peace, which he usually got when he went horseback riding.
"I'm really not trying to jerk you around, Zayne," James calmly said hoping he could reason with the Texan.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Zayne growled.
"No," James sighed. He stepped out of the way and let Zayne storm off.
"You really need to stop antagonizing him, Jay," Andy quietly admonished having stayed out of James and Zayne's conversation.
"I honestly wasn't trying to this time," James softly declared. "He really can't get to the trail riding place using his normal route because of road construction, but he wasn't in the mood for me to tell him that."
Andy sighed.
"I know he's gonna be a right pain the ass if he doesn't get his 'cowboy time'," James remarked.
"Jay," Andy muttered. He didn't like it when his lovers stereotyped each other.
"What? He's alright with me calling it that, but anywho, I say we do something special for him when he gets home," James suggested before walking out of the homicide bullpen.
"All right," Andy agreed and followed his redheaded lover.
I hope you had a good trip.
