Today’s theme is 5 Sentences.
Prompts can be whatever you’d like, but fills should be five sentences in length or multiples thereof.
Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Harry Potter, Luna Lovegood, not everything is magic
+ Ouran High School Host Club, ensemble, panic
+ MCU, Pepper Potts, losing (or giving up) control
+ Author’s choice, any character(s), hard days and long nights
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

In the few minutes of downtime they get in between, Wedge watches them gather in the pilots’ lounge instead of sleeping, imbibing alcohol and more illicit substances, returning to their quarters in pairs and groups to bleed off the strain in more intimate ways. He knows he should stop them, take care of them, make them take better care of themselves, but how can he? They’re giving their lives for the Rebel cause, and they deserve something.

Gil understands. There's simply too much to unpack in the past.
His father; his lost memories; so much family drama.
It's easier (safer, mentally) for Malcolm to ignore his birthday rather than celebrate.
Wendy snorted. "What's the worst that could happen - I end up in a wheelchair?"
Barbara forced back a sigh. "No, but it certainly wouldn't improve your chances of being approved for a Rewalk."
Wendy's only response was to move her arms faster. Considering she'd been on the parallel bars for almost four hours straight, it was a miracle that they hadn't fallen off.
"At least stop for a snack," Barbara continued. "You must be starving."
"I had a big breakfast."
"Leslie won't be pleased when she hears you haven't been eating."
"You know, Gordon, sometimes I think you want me to hate you."
For all their arguments, it wasn't as if Barbara could fault her for getting nowhere. Not even a month before could Wendy have transferred herself so quickly and easily to her chair. Give her another month and even that might not seem like much of an accomplishment.
