Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the above mentioned spoiler cut.
Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt
Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ Star Trek (any tv), Jean Luc Picard +/ any, TIL there is a fish that can survive without food and water for three to five years. (There's a reason Jean Luc has his lionfish)
+ Assassin's Creed, Ezio Auditore +/ Leonardo da Vinci, TIL Leonardo da Vinci wrote “all the branches of a tree at every stage of its height when put together are equal in thickness to the trunk”. In 2011 Christophe Eloy investigated and found that trees which followed Leonardo's rule would be the best at resisting wind-induced fracture. (Ezio is so proud of his nerd bff)
+ Dragon Age, author's choice, TIL if your name is Isabella, you have lifetime free admission to the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston, MA, with 2,000 artifacts from around the world owned by a woman addicted to collecting. In 1990 a $500 million (unsolved) art heist left behind empty frames on walls, which still remain.
We are now using AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2021 collection. See further notes on this new option here.
Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out the just created Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet. For more recent prompts to write, you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.
While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

"What?" Sam asks, jumping slightly. He's not freaking out yet- too many things are surprising to Bucky,as many years as he lost. But he's definitely intrigued. That was a big reaction for the former assassin.
"I've been loading Pez the wrong way," Bucky informs him seriously.
"Pez? Seriously, Pez? Were you like, using them as a secret poison?" Sam asks, settling back to his own scrolling- of the TV, trying to find something to watch that isn't either stupid or depressing.
Bucky scoffs. "Of course not. I'm a sharpshooter, why would they have me poisoning people with candy? I have a giant metal arm, somebody'd be bound to notice something was up."
"Then when, in the midst of everything else, did you find the time to try Pez?" Sam raises an eyebrow.
"They came out in like, the 1920's. Cheap and easy. Perfect for the Great Depression. Didn't have the little heads on them back then- those are kind of cool," Bucky notices, distracted.
Sam already knows he'll be getting his friend a Captain America Pez dispenser sometime soon. How could he not? For now, though, he says, "How do you load Pez wrong, anyway?"
Bucky turns his phone around, showing Sam the clip that prompted his outburst.
"Holy shit!" Sam says, reaching for his own phone. "No way."
He sits back with a groan a moment later. "It's fake. Wouldn't work. Pez even made a statement," he reports morosely.
Bucky sighs, shoulders sagging. "At least I haven't been doing it wrong for the last ninety years," he says, looking wistful. "Or, I guess, I wasn't doing it wrong 90 years ago. I don't remember the last time I had a Pez."
Sam shakes his head, abandoning his TV scrolling in favor of the Amazon app on his phone. Bucky's new Captain America Pez dispenser will be here tomorrow.
Thank you, this was fantastic!

Love it!
(This didn't happen to me today but just like in the last month I figured it out. And as my son says, I felt small brain for not getting it sooner)
