Monday: Triptych

Hello, all! I'm saavikam77, and I will be your guest host for the final week of 2010!

To get the week started, today's theme is Triptych. A triptych is generally defined as an art piece done in three attached/hinged panels, so with that in mind, the idea today is to follow a rule of three: prompts or fills in three parts, threesome prompts, basically anything to do with threes.

Remember the rules:
*Three prompts per fandom, and no more than five total. If one of your prompts is filled, you may post another.
*No spoilers for new shows/seasons until at least one week after airing.
*If your fill contains spoilers, please warn accordingly and leave enough space for people to pass by.

Please think of our hardworking codemonkeys, and use the following formula for your prompts:
*Supernatural, Dean & Sam, Past/Present/Future
*DCU, Jason Todd/Tim Drake, Three ways that Tim knew Jason loved him.
*Smallville, Clark/Lois/Oliver, In this together

Or, if nothing here catches your eye, you can always peruse the lonely prompts.

SGA, John/Ronon, three ways John learned to trust Ronon's instincts

"I don't know...," John said.

"Come on," Ronon growled softly, breath hot against John's neck and ear, "I have a feeling that you'll really, really like it."

John wasn't so sure, but he decided to trust Ronon's instincts.

It turned out, Ronon was right. Very, very, very right.

"That was amazing," John said, gasping for breath.

Ronon panted, "Yeah. Wanna do it again?"

"Are you out of your mind? After that, there's absolutely no way I'll be able to do anything tonight."

Ronon smirked as he rolled over to rest half his body over John's. "I have a feeling you'll recover quicker than you think."

John smiled, but he doubted it.

Turned out, Ronon was right again.

"I think we should get married," Ronon said one night, his hand gently moving up John's stomach and chest.

John assumed Ronon was joking and answered, "Fine, but since you're prettier, you have to be the bride."

"I am prettier. But don't be an idiot, we'll both be grooms."

Realizing Ronon was serious, John gaped and said, "But... I'm not - we're not -- I lo- I mean, I have... feelings, but I don't -"

"I don't mean now. I just mean, some day, when it's a good time. I just want you to think about it, so when the time is right, you'll be ready."

John hesitated. He didn't want to ruin what they had, but he wasn't exactly a hide-from-the-truth kind of guy. "Look Ronon, I don't know if I'm ever going to be ready. I'm not sure... that's in me."

Ronon smiled. "I have a hunch that it is. But don't worry about it right now. Like I said, when the time is right."

John sighed and let the issue drop. He hoped it wouldn't come up again any time soon.

Of course, a year later, they were writing their own vows. John started his, "Ronon, I've always hated it when you're right."
