Thursday | No Powers

Hey, guys~! Some of you might be out celebrating a holiday, but the week isn’t over yet. (Please come back. D:)

Today's theme: no powers. Take all of the spell casters, aliens, mutants, mutates, gods, angels, demons, immortals, spirits, undead, shape shifters, (whew) and anyone else with extraordinary abilities and turn them into regular Joes and plain Janes. You don’t have to create a completely AU setting -- simply blocking their powers somehow could work, too. Either way, let’s see how they act/react in this situation and interact with their average human counterparts.

A reminder of the rules:
+ No more than five prompts in a row
+ No more than three prompts per fandom
+ If one or more of your prompts is filled today, then you may prompt again
+ No spoilers within prompts until a week after the airdate/release
+ Warn for spoilers in bold and leave at least three spaces before the text

Also, for the sake of our terrific coders, please remember to use the proper format for prompts.

For a single fandom:
Falling Skies, Ben + author’s choice, AU in which the aliens do not harness and modify children
D.N.Angel, Daisuke + or / Satoshi, they’re two ordinary students -- a rampant work of art causes them to forget everything else between them

For multiple fandoms / crossovers:
Doctor Who/The History Boys, Ten or Eleven + or / author’s choice, Mr. Smith is a teacher in 1980s Sheffield

If the plot bunnies aren’t attacking you today, don't forget to check out our archive of Lonely Prompts.
For more recent prompts to write (and fills to read), you can also use LJ’s advanced search options to limit keyword results to only comments in this community.

Go and be free~! ♫
