Tuesday: Realism

Today's theme is Realism.

We write fanfic in the world of fantasy, but the reality of real life can be fuel for the most compelling of stories. People get cramps during sex, or someone pushes the limits too far. STDs and unexpected pregnancies, layoffs, injury, mental illness, homesickness, mood swings, funny habits - the possibilties are endless! And just because most of my examples range from tragic to inconvenient, doesn't mean that they can't be cute and funny and wonderful too.

Please think about our wonderful codemonkeys and use the correct format (the second is for crossovers).

Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Fandom1/Fandom2, Pairing, Prompt

Heroes, Mohinder/Sylar, "You don't need a chiropractor, I can fix it!"
Lost/Heroes, Daniel/Mohinder, "You don't remember me?"

Please remember not to post more than 5 prompts in a row and more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one or more of your prompts are answered, you can prompt again later in the day.

If you don't see anything you like, you can always Adopt a Lonely Prompt.

Leverage, Nate/Eliot, just can't figure you out

Think I might have slipped away from today's premise a bit, sorry!

Nathan eyes flicked back to the man sat across from him as his nails drumming on the table his frustration obvious. He didn't have a clue what to do or say to the younger man. The way he was behaving didn't make any sense. Okay so he was a loner and really not part of the team, but then again they weren't a team not yet. The signs were there though.

But this? This he couldn't figure. What the hell regularly makes anyone disappear for three nights a month? Not even the same three nights, there's no real connection that he can see. Though for some reason Hardison seems to think the fact that it's the full moon is something of importance. "You care to explain?"

"Nah... not really, I'm sure you'll figure it out soon enough."

And with that Eliot's gone from the office, leaving Nathan even more puzzled.
