Thursday: Families

Well hey y'all! I’m bwhouwant2b it's my final day as guest host here at comment_fic and I have to say that it has been great, I've really enjoyed seeing all the prompts that y'all let and all the things that got written.

Today’s theme is going to be Families .

Everybody has a family either the family they've chosen or the family they were born with. So I want us to look at that and have fun with it!

Please think about our wonderful codemonkeys and use the correct format (the second is for crossovers).

Fandom, Pairing, Prompt
Fandom1/Fandom2, Pairing, Prompt

Prison Break, Michael/Sara, beautiful brown eyed boy
Smallville/Supernatural, Lex/Dean, "Dude, how long has your dad been possessed?"

Please remember not to post more than 5 prompts in a row and more than 3 prompts per fandom. If one or more of your prompts are answered, you can prompt again later in the day.

If you don't see anything you like, you can always Adopt a Lonely Prompt.

Now, go forth and fic!! :D

Lamefill is Lame. But familial!
The whole thing with Kate was starting to make Bucky a little irritable. That girl had a wild streak about a mile wide, and Clint had been stretching it recently. Cute stunts were being played on Avengers New and Young all over New York. Cute stunts that Bucky hadn't been included in. Bucky hadn't wanted to encourage Kate by, you know, joking around with her too much, she was a great kid but, well, a kid. And maybe Eli was rubbing off on him, but knowing that Kate was getting mischeivous with somebody else was bugging him.

Bucky was wearing a stubborn frown on his face as Kate and Clint, sweaty and disheveled from a sparring session, cornered him in the kitchen of the new Avengers hideout.

"Hey, Buck!" Kate called easily, shooting him a little two-fingered salute while Clint pulled two bottles of water out of the fridge. "You may want to hold off on training for a while. We sort of, uh --"

"The whole place is a little... arrow-y," Clint explained, laughing. He didn't even bother to look sheepish about it. "Girly-girl's getting better though."

"One of these days Clint is going to let his guard down and he'll be a porcupine," Kate huffed, a little flush that wasn't exertion rising on her cheeks.

"Oh, I get it," Buck said, plucking Kate's water bottle out of her hand and taking a swig, "She's trying to impress you now, huh Clint?"

"Hey! --" Kate elbowed Bucky in the ribs, reclaiming her drink.

Clint was laughing. "Somebody sounds jealous. Hey, Katie, it sounds like Bucky here doesn't like you hanging out with your pal Clint!"

"It's not like that --" Bucky blurted, trying unsuccessfully to hide his fluster. "I'm just saying, Clint's a dirty old man!"

"I'm a dirty old married man," Clint shot back, on-target as always. "I'm no threat!"

Bucky was about to argue that there was no circumstance ever when Clint was not a threat, but Kate started laughing.

"That's completely gross!" She said, "Clint's like -- like, my crazy uncle or something."

"I thought Danny Rand was your crazy uncle," Clint said, faking a pout. "I wanted to be your creepy brother."

"Hey, if anyone's my creepy brother, it's Buck. Right, Buck?" Kate leaned against him, all expectant smiles, and Bucky frowned.

"You flirt with your brother?"

"Shut up." Kate's smile turned into a glare. She always managed to get her foot in her mouth somehow around bad boys.

Clint ruffled her hair and threw an arm around Bucky, grinning. "Maybe the Avengers is just that kind of family, Buck. Did you consider that?"

"I hope not," Bucky said, his voice suddenly all seriousness. "I really don't like Eli that way."
