Lundi: Band Names

Hello, everyone, welcome to the second Monday of the month and year! I’m little_huntress and I'll be your host for this week. Today's theme is Band Names, inspired by all the bands out there with unique names. Prompts can be a band's name, a play on it, your character naming their band or however you choose to interpret today's theme. And in case you're in need of inspiration: The 100 Best Band Names of All Time.

Just a few rules:
No more than five prompts in a row.
No more than three prompts in the same fandom.
Use the character's full names and fandom's full name for ease adding to the Lonely Prompts spreadsheet.
No spoilers in prompts for a month after airing, or use the spoiler cut option found here.
If your fill contains spoilers, warn and leave plenty of space, or use the spoiler cut.
If there are possible triggers in your story, please warn for them in the subject line!

Prompts should be formatted as follows: [Use the character's full names and fandom's full name]
Fandom, Character +/ Character, Prompt

Some examples to get the ball rolling...
+ DCU, Bruce Wayne/Harvey Dent, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness
+ iZombie, Liv Moore, Love is Colder Than Death
+ MCU, Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes, Loverboy

We use AO3 to bookmark filled prompts. If you fill a prompt and post it to AO3 please add it to the Bite Sized Bits of Fic from 2017 collection. See further notes on this new option here.

Not feeling any of today’s prompts? Check out Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 1 (not very current), Lonely Prompts Spreadsheet 2, or the Calendar Archives, or for more recent prompts, you can use LJ's advanced search options to find prompts to request and/or fill.

While the Lonely Prompts Spreadsheets and LJ's advanced search options are available, bookmarking the links of prompts you like might work better for searching for in the future.

Stargate Multiverse, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay. NASA AU.
“You know I'm right.”

“No, I do not.”

“Come on, Rodney! What else would God be?”

People were snickering—snickering—in Mission Control; Rodney glared at the all-too-smug Campbell who was mouthing 'Ratings jump' at Elizabeth.

It was possible the twitch he felt over his eye was permanent.

“John, go back to bed.”

“Not until you agree that God is an astronaut.”

Yep, permanent. So very permanent.

“Fine. God is an astronaut. Go to bed, Sheppard.”

Re: Stargate Multiverse, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay. NASA AU.
You know they have these hilarious, bickering arguments all the time. They're probably NASA's golden boy's just for the positive ratings they get *grins*

I love the idea of a tired John discussing those weird, deep topics you only seem to think about when you're beyond tired. Poor Rodney, stuck with a permanent twitch ;)

Re: Stargate Multiverse, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay. NASA AU.
Oh, they are and they know it. The only problem is that Rodney has developed that rather annoying twitch and John thinks he's helping. But at least he stops short of Ronon-level "help".

Glad to hear it! Thank you!

Re: Stargate Multiverse, John Sheppard/Rodney McKay. NASA AU.
Given how much we all love their arguments in canon, I can totally see them being a ratings boost. Awesome!

And you know John thinks it's good while Rodney's trying to figure out how to get him to stop. XD Thank you!
